Shipping Policy
At Apt Studio, we take great care in delivering your products safely and efficiently. Please review the following shipping information before placing your order.
1. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates calculated at checkout apply to Standard — Doorway Delivery only.
Shipping costs are determined based on, but not limited to, the following factors:
- Product size and weight
- Delivery location
- Supplier dispatch point
Any additional delivery services or special requirements are not included in Standard Delivery and may incur additional costs.
Standard — Doorway Delivery is not available to all delivery addresses. Delivery availability is determined based on the delivery postcode and supplier service areas.
Multiple Supplier Shipping
Apt Studio works with multiple independent suppliers. Items within the same order may be dispatched separately and may incur multiple shipping charges. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your cart.
2. Standard — Doorway Delivery
Standard Delivery includes drop-off to one of the following locations only:
- Doorway
- Lobby of the delivery address
Standard Delivery does not include room-of-choice placement, stairs, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.
Please note:
- Delivery drivers may offer additional assistance at their discretion but are not obligated to do so.
- Customers will be required to move items beyond the delivery point.
- Delivery personnel are not required to enter the home or move items past the doorway or lobby.
- Large, heavy, oversized, or fragile items may be delivered on pallets or require multiple people to move safely.
3. Optional Upgrade — Premium Delivery (Quote Confirmed After Checkout)
Apt Studio offers an Optional Premium Delivery service for customers who require delivery beyond our Standard offering.
Premium Delivery may include, but is not limited to:
- Room-of-choice delivery
- Stairs or upper-floor access
- Assembly or installation
- Removal of packaging or pallets
- Preferred delivery date or time requests
- Other special delivery requirements
Customers may select Optional Upgrade — Premium Delivery at checkout. After purchase, a member of the Apt Studio team will contact you to confirm availability and provide a tailored delivery quote based on your specific requirements.
If the Premium Delivery quote is approved:
- A separate invoice will be issued
- Your order will be finalised and scheduled for delivery upon payment
Where a delivery quote is required — whether due to Premium Delivery selection or address-based delivery restrictions — and the customer does not approve the quoted delivery cost, Apt Studio will provide a full refund of the payment for the goods processed at checkout.

Please note:
- Premium Delivery is subject to availability
- Changes or upgrades to delivery services after dispatch are not guaranteed
4. Address-Based Delivery Restrictions
In some cases, Standard — Doorway Delivery may not be available to a customer’s delivery address due to supplier or carrier service limitations.
Where Standard — Doorway Delivery is unavailable, customers will be offered Delivery Quote Required — Address Not Serviced by Standard Delivery at checkout. Our team will contact the customer after checkout to arrange the most suitable delivery option and provide a delivery quote for approval.
Orders requiring a delivery quote will only proceed once the quoted delivery cost has been approved by the customer.
5. Delivery Timeframes & Availability
Delivery timeframes vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Supplier location
- Courier schedules
- Delivery destination
Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided once your order has shipped.
If an item is found to be no longer available after your order has been placed, Apt Studio will contact you to discuss next steps. In this instance, customers may choose to:
- Receive a full refund, or
- Exchange for an alternative product, with any difference in price adjusted accordingly
Orders containing multiple items may be delivered separately on different dates.
In most cases, deliveries are completed within 7–21 days, depending on location. Timeframes may vary due to factors outside our control, including supplier delays, freight disruptions, or regional delivery constraints.
6. Delivery Access & Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:
- Safe and clear access to the delivery location
- Doorways, hallways, staircases, and lifts can accommodate the item(s)
- Any building or apartment delivery requirements are communicated in advance
If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions, redelivery fees may apply.
Customer contact details will be provided to our logistics partners, who are instructed to contact you prior to delivery with an estimated delivery date and approximate delivery window. While we make every effort to ensure advance notice, this cannot be guaranteed.
If no one is available to receive the delivery, the delivery partner may leave the goods at the doorway, lobby, or another location agreed in advance.
7. Order Notes & Special Requests
Customers may include any delivery requests or additional information in the order notes at cart or checkout. While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, inclusion in order notes does not guarantee availability and may require Premium Delivery or incur additional costs.
8. Delivery Issues
If you experience a missed delivery, delays, delivery to the incorrect location, or any other delivery-related issues, please contact us at enquiries@aptstudio.com.au and our team will liaise with the courier on your behalf.
